Tillandsia ‘Tectorum Ecuador’ is a stunning air plant prized for its dense coating of silvery-white trichomes, giving it a soft, fuzzy appearance and excellent drought tolerance. Native to high-altitude regions of Ecuador, it is a form of Tillandsia tectorum within the Tillandsia genus, adapted to bright light, strong airflow, and relatively dry conditions. Unlike many air plants, it prefers lighter, more frequent misting rather than long soaks, as excess moisture can cause rot if it doesn’t dry quickly.
