Tephrocactus alexanderii, commonly known as the 'Indian Ball Cactus,' is a fascinating and unique cactus species native to Argentina. This cactus is easily recognized by its striking, ball-shaped segments that form a spiny, globular cluster. Typically growing to about 6 to 12 inches in height, each segment is bright green and covered with sharp, white to yellow spines that radiate out from the surface, giving it a spiky, textured look. The segments are often described as "ball-like" because they appear as distinct, rounded units, giving the cactus an interesting, segmented structure.
