Stenocactus lamellosus

This type of cactus, also known as a wave or brain cactus, is called Stenocactus lamellosus due to its crinkly appearance. Its small, spherical shape is covered with closely spaced, undulating ribs, giving it a wavy, brain-like surface. It features small, olive green flowers and spider-shaped spines. This cactus prefers plenty of sunlight, but can also thrive with some light shade during the hot summer months. It is important to allow the soil to dry between waterings, and it should not be watered at all during the winter.
