This succulent boasts a striking combination of red and green in a bold rosette form. To maintain its tight rosette form and vibrant colors, ensure that it receives plenty of sunlight and is planted in well-draining soil or a pot with drainage holes. Sempervivum is also known for producing new offsets, known as "chicks," which can either be left to form clusters or transplanted to other areas. With weekly watering and protection from temperatures over 80F, this frost-hardy plant will thrive during the spring and summer months. And even in the winter, it can survive under a layer of snow. Just be sure to protect it from heavy rain and standing water
