Sedum 'Clavatum' is a visually appealing succulent shrub with thick, spreading branches that end in clusters of fleshy, pale green to blue-green leaves. The leaves may have red tips and the plant can reach up to 8 inches (20 cm) in height. The rosettes are around 2 inches (5 cm) in diameter and as the branches elongate, they shed older leaves but are always adorned with fresh ones, creating a dense carpet of attractive foliage. The flowers are 5-petaled and star-shaped, with white petals and dark red anthers, and bloom in compact groups on short side branches from spring to early summer.
