Rhipsalis cassutha 'Mistletoe Cactus'

Rhipsalis cassutha, commonly known as Mistletoe Cactus, is a unique tropical cactus with long, slender, trailing stems that create a graceful, cascading appearance. Unlike desert cacti, it naturally grows in humid forest environments and prefers bright, indirect light and well-draining soil with moderate moisture. Mature plants can develop small, creamy-white flowers followed by translucent white berries, adding to their decorative appeal. Its trailing growth makes it especially well suited to hanging baskets and elevated planters. Pet friendly: Yes. Rhipsalis is generally considered non-toxic to dogs and cats, making it a good choice for homes with pets. Hardiness zones: USDA Zones 10–11. It is frost sensitive and should be protected from temperatures below about 50°F.
