Pilosocereus gounellei is a tall, columnar cactus species native to northeastern Brazil, known for its striking blue-green stems and woolly areoles that give it a slightly fuzzy appearance. It features pronounced ribs lined with clusters of golden to brown spines, and can grow several meters tall in its natural habitat. In the right conditions, Pilosocereus gounellei produces beautiful nocturnal flowers—typically white to pale pink—that bloom near the stem tips and are often pollinated by bats or moths. This cactus thrives in full sun, with excellent drainage and minimal water, making it a resilient choice for xeriscaping or cactus gardens. Its bold, architectural form and subtle coloration make Pilosocereus gounellei a striking centerpiece in any arid landscape or large container display.

Please Note: Plant will ship bare root with little to no dirt, you will receive a plant similar to the one in the photo. It is advised to handle this plant with caution and use gloves or tongs as it is covered in spines.
