Parodia Magnifica - 'Balloon Cactus'

Parodia Magnifica, also known as "Balloon Cactus," is a barrel cactus with 11-15 sharp ribs lined with golden, bristly spines. As it matures, it develops a bluer, more glaucous tone and may even form a cluster. This unique species can grow up to 8.0" tall and 6.0" wide, and produces vibrant yellow flowers when it blooms. Sadly, due to its native habitats in Brazil being endangered, the Parodia Magnifica is becoming a rare and highly sought after addition to any collection.
