Pachysedum 'Ganzhou' is an attractive succulent hybrid prized for its thick, fleshy leaves and compact rosette-forming growth habit. Its plump leaves typically display soft blue-green to silvery tones, with warmer pink, red, or purple coloring developing along the edges when the plant receives plenty of sunlight and experiences cooler temperatures. This low-growing succulent is an excellent choice for containers, rock gardens, succulent arrangements, and windowsill collections, where its sculptural foliage can be appreciated up close.
This easy-care succulent thrives in bright light to full sun and prefers a fast-draining cactus or succulent soil mix. Allow the soil to dry completely between waterings, as Pachysedum 'Ganzhou' is drought tolerant and is more susceptible to problems from overwatering than from occasional dryness. Provide good airflow and avoid allowing water to sit around the leaves or in the center of the rosette.
