Pachycereus marginatus, also known as the Mexican Fence Post Cactus, is a tall, columnar cactus with minimal branching. It can grow up to 16.0' in its natural habitat and features 4-7 wide ribs lined with bright white areoles. The areoles are spined and produce red to pink, funnelform flowers. This cactus is a popular choice for creating living fences.
