Orostachys fimbrata

Orostachys fimbrata is a unique, low-growing succulent in the Crassulaceae family, recognized for its compact rosettes of fleshy, green to gray-green leaves with delicate, fringed or finely toothed edges. Its distinctive texture and attractive growth habit make it an interesting addition to rock gardens, succulent collections, and decorative containers. This hardy succulent thrives in full sun to partial sunlight, well-draining soil, and infrequent watering, allowing the soil to dry between waterings to prevent root rot. It is well adapted to rocky environments and can tolerate periods of drought once established. Pet-friendly: Its toxicity to cats and dogs is not well documented, so it is best kept out of reach of pets. USDA hardiness zones: Approximately 5–9, depending on growing conditions and the source. It is generally cold-hardy compared with many succulents but still requires excellent drainage to protect its roots from excess moisture.
