Mammillaria fraileana is a small, clumping cactus native to the deserts of northwestern Mexico, particularly the state of Sonora. It typically forms low, cylindrical stems that grow in tight clusters, each covered with neat rows of tubercles bearing short, white radial spines and a few darker central spines. In spring or early summer, this species produces charming, pale pink to magenta flowers that form a crown near the top of each stem. Like many Mammillarias, it prefers full sun to light shade, well-draining soil, and infrequent watering—especially in cooler months. Mammillaria fraileana is an excellent choice for collectors and desert gardeners looking for a compact, floriferous, and low-maintenance cactus.

Please Note: Plant will ship bare root with little to no dirt, you will receive a plant similar to the one in the photo. It is advised to handle this plant with caution and use gloves or tongs as it is covered in spines.
