Hildewintera aurispina is a unique trailing cactus known for its long, slender stems covered in soft golden spines that give it a fuzzy, glowing appearance. Native to mountainous regions, it thrives in bright light and well-draining soil, making it an excellent choice for hanging pots or elevated planters where its stems can cascade freely. During the growing season, it may produce vibrant, tubular flowers that add a striking pop of color against its textured foliage. Despite its soft look, Hildewintera aurispina is not considered pet-friendly, as its spines can cause irritation and discomfort if touched or ingested by cats or dogs.
Please Note: Plant will ship bare root with little to no dirt, you will receive a plant similar to the one in the photo. It is advised to handle this plant with caution and use gloves or tongs as it is covered in spines.
