Haworthia retusa f. geraldii is a small, attractive succulent that belongs to the Aloe family. This variety is known for its unique, translucent leaves that form a rosette shape, with thick, fleshy, greenish leaves that often have a translucent, almost glassy appearance at their tips, allowing light to filter through. This gives it a striking, geometric look. The plant grows slowly, typically reaching a height of about 4 to 6 inches, making it a perfect candidate for container gardening or small indoor spaces. Like most Haworthia, it prefers bright, indirect light and well-draining soil. It's also quite drought-tolerant, thriving on minimal water, and can endure periods of neglect, making it an excellent choice for beginners or low-maintenance plant enthusiasts. As it matures, it may produce small, tubular white or pale pink flowers, though it's grown more for its architectural foliage than its blooms.
