The triangular leaves of Faucaria tigrina, commonly known as Tiger Jaws, have unique soft-toothed edges. Each leaf pair is lined with gentle "teeth" that may have delicate tendrils at their tips. This compact, clumping species, originating from South Africa, produces large, dandelion-like blooms in the late summer and fall. These flowers open each afternoon and close by nightfall.
