Euphorbia trigona 'African Milk Tree' is a tall, architectural succulent that brings a bold, vertical presence to any plant collection. Native to Central Africa, this fast-growing plant features upright, triangular green stems with ridges lined by small thorns and teardrop-shaped leaves. It often displays a vibrant mix of green and red tones, especially in its 'Rubra' variety. Despite its exotic appearance, Euphorbia trigona 'African Milk Tree' is low-maintenance and drought-tolerant, thriving in bright, indirect light and needing only occasional watering. Like other euphorbias, it produces a white sap that can be irritating to skin and toxic if ingested, so handle with care and keep out of reach of pets and children.
Be aware that the sap of this plant is toxic and should not be touched by children or pets. If you happen to come into contact with the sap while handling the plant, wash your hands right away.
