Euphorbia tirucali, commonly known as the Pencil Cactus or "Milk Bush," is a striking succulent shrub known for its slender, green, pencil-like branches that can grow upright or in a tangled mass. Despite its cactus-like appearance, it belongs to the Euphorbia family and produces a toxic, milky latex sap that can cause skin irritation and should be handled with care. When mature, it can reach heights of up to 30 feet in its native habitat, though it remains smaller when grown indoors.
