E. grusonii brevispinus 'Short Spine Golden Barrel'

Echinocactus grusonii brevispinus, also referred to as the "Short Spine Golden Barrel", is a stunning cactus species that typically grows to heights of 24 to 36 inches. As part of the "Cactaceae" family, this slow-growing, winter-dormant cactus produces vibrant yellow flowers in late spring to summer. To thrive, it needs full sun exposure and can tolerate temperatures as low as -6.7° C (20° F) in hardiness zones 9a-11.
