Echeveria 'Prolifica'

Echeveria 'Prolifica' (Moran & Meyrán): As its name suggests, this type is impressively prolific. It boasts a small, silvery green rosette that can take on pink tones when exposed to bright sunlight. The leaves are delicately coated in a fine layer of powdery farina, giving them a stunning silver appearance. This rare species has yet to be discovered in the wild, and it is believed that all cultivated 'Prolifica' are genetic clones of the original plant purchased at a plant stand in Mexico in 1969.

Echeveria require ample sunlight to retain their vibrant colors and maintain a compact, rosette shape. While they are not able to withstand harsh frost, they can be moved indoors to a sunny windowsill or under a grow light in the event of freezing temps. To avoid damage, protect from intense afternoon sun during periods of extreme heat.
