Echeveria setosa 'Doris Taylor', commonly known as the Woolly Rose, is a charming succulent admired for its fuzzy, spoon-shaped leaves that are covered in fine, white hairs. These soft hairs give the plant a velvety texture and help protect it from intense sunlight and dehydration. The leaves form a compact rosette and are typically green with reddish tips, especially when grown in bright light. In spring and summer, Echeveria setosa 'Doris Taylor' produces tall flower stalks with bright orange-red, bell-shaped blooms that attract pollinators. This cultivar thrives in well-draining soil, full to partial sun, and requires minimal watering, making it an excellent choice for both indoor containers and outdoor rock gardens.
