Echeveria desmetiana 'Peacockii'
Echeveria desmetiana 'Peacockii'
Echeveria desmetiana 'Peacockii' (also known as E. subsessilis and E. desmetiana) (Croucher): A stunning rosette featuring silver-blue leaves with delicate, pink pointed tips. This variety may have subtle ridges on the middle of its leaves and boasts a powdery coating of farina to shield it from the intense Mexican sun. Every summer, it produces a towering, gracefully curved flower stalk adorned with coral, bell-shaped blooms.
Echeveria require ample sunlight to retain their vibrant colors and maintain a compact, rosette shape. While they are not able to withstand harsh frost, they can be moved indoors to a sunny windowsill or under a grow light in the event of freezing temps. To avoid damage, protect from intense afternoon sun during periods of extreme heat.
