Echeveria 'DaVinci Code' is a hybrid of the well-known species E. cante and E. subrigida, inheriting the thick white powder of the former and the striking red leaf edges and blue coloration of the latter. With potential to reach a leaf span of up to 25 inches in width, this variety is highly sought-after for its impressive size and beauty. Its leaves also thicken in winter when exposed to ample sunlight.
Echeveria require ample sunlight to retain their vibrant colors and maintain a compact, rosette shape. While they are not able to withstand harsh frost, they can be moved indoors to a sunny windowsill or under a grow light in the event of freezing temps. To avoid damage, protect from intense afternoon sun during periods of extreme heat.
