Echeveria 'Cante'

Echeveria 'Cante' has a beautiful and distinctive appearance, with thin, large leaves that are nearly white. Its full sun exposure is protected by a natural, powdery wax coating, giving it a frosty look. This plant has a unique color palette, with blue, lilac, and pink tones, which can be seen underneath the epicuticular wax. In its native habitats in Mexico, the rosette can grow up to 16.0" wide, making it an impressive sight. However, propagating this plant can be difficult as it tends to be reluctant to produce offsets and does not easily root from leaves.

Echeveria require ample sunlight to retain their vibrant colors and maintain a compact, rosette shape. While they are not able to withstand harsh frost, they can be moved indoors to a sunny windowsill or under a grow light in the event of freezing temps. To avoid damage, protect from intense afternoon sun during periods of extreme heat.
