The Echeveria "Black Prince" (Reinelt) is a hybrid of E. affinis x E. shaviana, showcasing dark and thick leaves ranging in color from burgundy to near black. Its striking appearance is largely influenced by its E. affinis parent. At maturity, it reaches a diameter of approximately 6.0" and produces new offsets. When exposed to full, summer sun and drought, the plant may bleach to a coppery orange hue. In both spring and fall, it may produce tall bloom stalks adorned with vibrant fuchsia to red flowers.
