Dudleya brittonii
Dudleya brittonii
Dudleya brittonii (Johansen): Known for its striking appearance, this white, chalky plant is highly reflective of UV rays, making it stand out among other plants. Its pointed leaves form a rosette that can reach up to 18.0" in width. The thick layer of powdery wax on its surface helps prevent water loss in sunny, hot environments. This species is native to Baja California and can be found growing on exposed cliffs.
Dudleya thrive in bright sunlight to retain their vibrant color and unique shape. If there is a risk of freezing temperatures, they can be moved indoors to a sunny window or under a grow light.
