Crassula Perforata 'Ivory Tower'
Crassula Perforata 'Ivory Tower'
Crassula perforata 'Ivory Tower' is an attractive trailing succulent known for its stacked, triangular leaves that grow along slender stems, creating a distinctive beaded or necklace-like appearance. The blue-green to gray-green foliage can develop creamy white variegation and subtle pink or red tones along the edges when exposed to bright light, making 'Ivory Tower' an especially eye-catching addition to hanging baskets, succulent arrangements, or containers. It prefers bright, indirect to filtered sunlight and a well-draining soil mix. Allow the soil to dry between waterings to help prevent overwatering and root rot.
Pet friendly: Yes. Crassula perforata is generally considered non-toxic to cats and dogs, making 'Ivory Tower' a good choice for pet-friendly homes, although consuming large amounts of any plant material can still cause digestive upset.
Hardiness: USDA Zones 9–11. This succulent is not frost tolerant and should be protected from temperatures near or below freezing. In cooler climates, it is best grown in a container and brought indoors during cold weather.
Fragile: leaves may curl, fall off, or bruise during shipping. Will recover with proper light, water, and leaf shedding.
