Crassula perforata 'Ivory Tower', commonly known as the String of Buttons 'Ivory Tower', is a striking succulent characterized by its stacked, triangular leaves that spiral tightly around upright stems. The pale green leaves are edged with creamy white to ivory margins, sometimes blushing pink under bright sunlight or stress, giving it a soft, variegated appearance. As the plant grows, it forms a tall, architectural column—hence the name "Ivory Tower"—making it a dramatic vertical accent in succulent arrangements or containers. In spring or early summer, it may produce clusters of tiny, star-shaped white or pale pink flowers. Like most Crassula species, 'Ivory Tower' thrives in well-draining soil, bright indirect to direct sunlight, and should be watered sparingly, allowing the soil to dry completely between waterings. It’s a low-maintenance, eye-catching succulent ideal for both beginner growers and collectors.
