Crassula perforata ssp. kougaensis is a striking and compact subspecies of the popular “String of Buttons” succulent, known for its tightly stacked, triangular leaves that spiral around the stem like a miniature tower. Native to South Africa’s Kouga region, this variety is smaller and more delicate than the typical Crassula perforata, with softer green to blue-green foliage edged in pink or red, especially when exposed to bright light or cooler temperatures. Crassula perforata ssp. kougaensis is drought-tolerant, thrives in well-drained soil, and makes an excellent choice for rock gardens, succulent arrangements, or hanging baskets where its trailing stems can spill gracefully. It may produce small, star-shaped flowers in pale pink or white, adding subtle charm to its geometric form.

Please Note: Plant will ship bare root with little to no dirt, and you will receive a plant similar to the one in the photo. Fragile: leaves may curl, fall off, or bruise during shipping. Will recover with proper light, water, and leaf shedding.
