Cereus peruvianus cactus, originally from South America, is a tall upright plant with the common names of Apple Cactus or Night Blooming Cereus. Part of the Cactaceae Family, this cactus can reach up to 30 feet in its natural habitat. It features a green-grayish stem, typical of cacti, adorned with brown spines along the edges. Indoors, the Peruvian cactus apple can grow up to 6 to 8 feet quickly. During summer, it produces white night-blooming flowers that close in the morning. The winter-dormant Cereus peruvianus 'Apple Cactus' thrives in both full sun and shade, though it is not tolerant of frost.

Please Note: Plant will ship bare root with little to no dirt, and you will receive a plant similar to the one in the photo. It is advised to handle this plant with caution and use gloves or tongs as it is covered in spines.
