Agave sebastiana, also known as Agave shawii var. sebastiana, originates from the islands of West San Benito, Natividad, and Cedros, located in the western region of Baja California. It is a drought-resistant plant that grows in clumps of 3-5' wide and can withstand temperatures as low as 20-25 degrees. With its thick, succulent leaves and toothed margins, it forms a distinctive rosette shape. After approximately 20 years, it produces tall flower stalks with stunning yellow flowers, followed by the plant's death and the emergence of new plants, known as 'pups'.

Please Note: Plant will ship bare root with little to no dirt, and you will receive a plant similar to the one in the photo. It is advised to handle this plant with caution and use gloves or tongs as it is covered in spines.
