Agave 'Creme Brulee' is a striking ornamental agave prized for its compact rosette of broad, blue-green leaves edged with creamy yellow and warm caramel tones. Its distinctive coloring gives the plant a rich, dessert-like appearance, especially when grown in bright sunlight. This slow-growing agave makes an excellent choice for rock gardens, xeriscaping, containers, and succulent landscapes. It prefers full sun to bright light, excellent drainage, and infrequent watering once established.
Pet friendly: No. Agaves contain irritating sap and are not considered pet-friendly. Ingestion may cause mouth irritation, drooling, vomiting, or digestive upset, so it is best kept away from pets.
Hardiness:USDA Zones 8–11. Agave 'Creme Brulee' is drought tolerant once established but should be protected from prolonged freezing temperatures and excessive winter moisture. In colder climates, growing it in a container allows it to be moved to a protected location during winter.
