Agave 'Blue Emperor' is a bold, architectural succulent prized for its symmetrical rosette of broad, powdery blue-gray leaves with subtle marginal teeth and a pronounced terminal spine. Its striking color and sculptural form make it an exceptional focal point in xeriscapes, rock gardens, and decorative containers. This slow-growing agave thrives in full sun and well-draining soil, requiring only occasional watering once established. It is highly drought tolerant and performs best in dry, warm climates with minimal humidity. Hardiness: USDA Hardiness Zones 8–11. In regions with colder winters, it should be protected from prolonged freezing temperatures or grown in a container that can be moved indoors. Pet Friendly: No. Like other agaves, Agave 'Blue Emperor' is toxic to cats and dogs if ingested, and its sap may cause skin irritation upon contact.
