Aeonium 'Firecracker' is a result of cross-breeding Aeonium arboreum 'Zwartkop', a well-known dark cultivar, with Aeonium simsii, a smaller succulent with lanceolate leaves. This evergreen plant, belonging to the Crassulaceae family, is native to Gran Canaria Island in the Canary Islands, and thrives at elevations up to 6000 feet. Its rosettes are 3-4 inches wide and have a dark reddish black color with a brilliant green center. The leaves are lanceolate with narrower tips and ciliate margins, forming a low mound that can reach 6-12 inches tall.

Please Note: Plant will ship bare root with little to no dirt, you will receive a plant similar to the one in the photo. Fragile: leaves may curl, fall off, or bruise during shipping. Will recover with proper light, water, and leaf shedding.
