Callisia repens, often sold alongside or mistaken for Tradescantia, is a fast-growing trailing plant loved for its small, rounded leaves and cascading habit. The foliage typically appears soft green on top with hints of purple beneath, and some forms develop blush or pink tones in bright light. Its dense, mat-forming growth makes it ideal for hanging baskets, shelves, or as a spiller in mixed arrangements. Easy to care for, Callisia repens thrives in bright, indirect light with well-draining soil and moderate watering, drying slightly between waterings to prevent root rot while maintaining its lush, trailing appearance.
