Sinocrassula yunnanensis ‘Chinese Jade’ is a striking, compact succulent prized for its dense rosettes of dark green to nearly black, pointed leaves that create a dramatic, textured look. Native to rocky regions of China, it thrives in bright light and well-draining soil, making it an excellent choice for containers, rock gardens, or windowsill displays. During its blooming period, it produces clusters of tiny, star-shaped flowers atop tall stalks, after which individual rosettes may die back, allowing offsets to continue the plant’s growth cycle. This plant is not considered pet-friendly, as it may be toxic if ingested by cats or dogs, so it’s best kept out of reach of curious pets.
