Senecio serpens 'Mini Blue Chalksticks'

The Senecio serpens Mini Blue Chalksticks is a more compact and tidy version of the Blue Chalksticks plant. Its finger-like leaves are a vibrant blue and can grow up to 1.0"-2.0" in length. These leaves are coated with a powdery farina that provides protection from bright sunlight and can give the plant a silvery appearance in the summer. This low-maintenance and drought-tolerant ground cover is ideal for frost-free climates, but can also be brought indoors during winter near a sunny window or under a grow light. With sufficient sunlight, the plant can even cascade beautifully from containers. Additionally, it produces a classic Asteraceae flower made up of fragrant white blossoms.
