Sansevieria parva 'Kenya Hyacinth'
Sansevieria parva 'Kenya Hyacinth'
Sansevieria parva, also known as Kenya Hyacinth, is a compact, rosette-forming succulent native to East Africa. It features narrow, lance-shaped leaves that are dark green with subtle horizontal banding and can reach up to 12 inches (30 cm) in length. This hardy plant is drought-tolerant, thrives in low to bright indirect light, and is well-suited for indoor environments or small container gardens. Unlike many other snake plant species, Sansevieria parva is known to produce fragrant, hyacinth-like flowers under the right conditions—typically when slightly root-bound. Its easy-care nature, air-purifying qualities, and attractive growth habit make it a great choice for beginners and collectors alike.
