Sansevieria 'Star' Series, also known as Star Snake Plant or Star Mother-In-Law’s Tongue, is a resilient, drought-tolerant plant indigenous to tropical west Africa from Nigeria to Congo. Evolved to thrive in dry conditions, the Sansevieria has developed CAM photosynthesis, enabling it to open its pores at night and close them during the day to conserve water. Its ability to purify the air and remove toxins is well-documented. The 'Star' Series offers a variety of cultivars with different sizes, heights, and color patterns, but all feature upright, spear-like leaves arranged in a distinctive rosette shape.
