Rhipsalis ewaldiana is a unique and delicate epiphytic cactus native to the tropical rainforests of Brazil. Unlike typical desert cacti, this species features slender, branching stems that are slightly angular and green, sometimes tinged with red or purple in bright light. As a jungle cactus, Rhipsalis ewaldiana prefers bright, indirect light and thrives in warm, humid environments. It requires well-draining soil (like a mix for orchids or epiphytic plants) and regular watering, allowing the soil to partially dry out between waterings. During the growing season, it may produce small, white or pale-pink flowers, followed by tiny white or translucent berries.
