Rhipsalis boliviana is a unique, epiphytic cactus known for its cascading, thread-like stems that create a soft, trailing appearance—perfect for hanging baskets or shelves. Native to the forests of South America, it thrives in bright, indirect light and prefers higher humidity than desert cacti, making it well-suited to indoor environments. Its delicate green stems can develop small, subtle flowers and berries under the right conditions, adding to its charm. This plant is considered pet-friendly, as Rhipsalis species are generally non-toxic to cats and dogs, be aware small spines can cause irritation if chewed.
