The plant has long glabrous leaves and corolla lobes that gradually narrow towards the base, setting it apart from its main Madagascar counterpart. The Madagascar Palm Tree lamerei 'ramosum' can reach a maximum height of 10 feet in USDA zones 10-11. This plant is not only aesthetically pleasing, but also requires minimal upkeep.
