Graptopetalum bellum 'Chihuahua Flower'
Graptopetalum bellum 'Chihuahua Flower'
Graptopetalum bellum, also known simply as Tacitus bellus, is a charming succulent prized for its compact rosettes of fleshy, pointed, grayish-green leaves with a subtle pink or purple tint, especially under bright light. Native to northern Mexico, this plant is especially admired for its stunning star-shaped, deep pink to magenta flowers that bloom in late spring or summer, often appearing in clusters well above the foliage. Unlike many succulents, Graptopetalum tacitus bellus is relatively fast-growing and prefers well-draining soil, full sun to partial shade, and minimal watering. Its vibrant blooms and tidy form make it an excellent choice for rock gardens, container arrangements, and sunny windowsills.
