Euphorbia loricata is a striking and unusual succulent native to South Africa, known for its upright, sword-like stems lined with spiny ridges and small, scale-like leaves. This drought-tolerant plant adds an architectural flair to any collection, thriving in bright light and well-draining soil. With its bold texture and easy-care nature, Euphorbia loricata is a standout choice for succulent enthusiasts looking to add something unique and sculptural to their garden or indoor space. During the summer, it appears to be leafless. Characteristics: A perennial-succulent shrub that can reach 12–39 inches (30–100 cm) in height, with branching occurring at both the base and higher up. Branches: Upright, fleshy, and measuring 0.3–0.5 inches (8–12 mm) in diameter, with a smooth and cylindrical texture. They also have shallow tubercles arranged in a spiral pattern and many persistent rigid peduncles.
