Eriosyce pulchella
Eriosyce pulchella
Eriosyce pulchella, a geographic variation of the widespread and morphologically diverse Eriosyce taltalensis, was once thought to be several separate species. However, it is now recognized as one multi-form species, with each distinct form connected to others through intermediate plant populations. Eriosyce pulchella is a smaller variety that closely resembles, if not identical to, the Eriosyce taltalensis var. pygmaea, and is known for its predominantly pale white to pink flowers.
