Chamaecereus silvestrii, commonly known as the Peanut Cactus, is a low-growing, clump-forming cactus native to Argentina. It features numerous finger-like stems that are slender, ribbed, and covered in soft, white spines, giving it a fuzzy appearance without being too sharp to the touch. This charming cactus spreads quickly, making it ideal for hanging baskets or shallow containers where it can cascade over the edges. In late spring to early summer, it puts on a spectacular floral display with vibrant orange-red, daisy-like flowers that contrast beautifully with its green stems. Chamaecereus silvestrii thrives in bright light, well-draining soil, and prefers to dry out between waterings, making it a low-maintenance yet highly rewarding choice for cactus and succulent enthusiasts.

Please Note: Plant will ship bare root with little to no dirt, you will receive a plant similar to the one in the photo. It is advised to handle this plant with caution and use gloves or tongs as it is covered in spines.
