Crassula capitella ssp. thyrsiflora 'Pagoda Village'
Crassula capitella ssp. thyrsiflora 'Pagoda Village' (Red Pagoda) is a visually striking succulent with a distinctive tower-like structure made up of triangular leaves. Originally from South Africa, it can be found sprawling across dry, rocky slopes. As a cultivated plant, Pagoda Village is versatile and can be utilized as a cascading feature in containers or as a ground cover in areas without frost. With its glossy green base color, it is known to take on a deep burgundy hue when exposed to stressors like full sun, prolonged dryness, or cool temperatures. Reaching a length of approximately 8.0 inches, the stems of this variety are quick to take root when bent down to the soil or from stem cuttings. In summer or fall, it produces an abundance of tiny, white flowers.
