Ceraria namaquensis x frutirosais is a desert shrub, reaching 4-6 feet in height, smaller if left in a pot. Its woody stems and spiky, succulent leaves make it a slow-growing plant, and its pale-barked branches add to its unique appearance. In its natural habitat, the Ceraria loses its leaves during the summer drought, but when cultivated, it can retain them year-round while still showing growth. This plant is particularly drought-tolerant once established and thrives in average, well-drained soil with plenty of sunlight and low water. In the summer, the Ceraria produces pink flowers, making it a beautiful and resilient addition to any garden.
