Aloe ‘AJR’ is a compact, decorative aloe cultivar admired for its rosettes of thick, fleshy leaves often edged with soft teeth and displaying subtle variations of green, sometimes with hints of speckling or warm tones under bright light. Like most aloes, it is a hardy, low-maintenance succulent that thrives in plenty of sunlight, well-draining soil, and infrequent watering, making it an excellent choice for both indoor and outdoor settings. However, unlike some other succulents, Aloe ‘AJR’ is not pet-friendly—it can be toxic to cats and dogs if ingested, potentially causing symptoms like vomiting or lethargy, so it should be kept safely out of reach of pets.
