Aeonium 'Blushing Beauty'
Aeonium 'Blushing Beauty'
Aeonium 'Blushing Beauty' is a striking hybrid succulent, likely a cross between Aeonium canariense and Aeonium arboreum 'Zwartkop'. It is admired for its dramatic rosettes of fleshy, spoon-shaped leaves that display a captivating blend of green, burgundy, and deep red hues—colors that intensify with sun exposure, stress, or seasonal changes, hence the name "Blushing Beauty." This evergreen succulent grows on branching stems and can reach up to 2–3 feet tall, forming a small shrub-like structure over time. In late spring to summer, it may produce clusters of small, star-shaped yellow flowers. Like other aeoniums, it prefers mild climates, well-draining soil, and infrequent watering, especially during its summer dormancy. Its unique coloration and form make it a favorite in drought-tolerant landscapes and container arrangements.
