Echeveria 'Morning Beauty' (E. Subsessilis): This stunning succulent features a delicate pale blue rosette with subtle hints of pink and lilac along the leaf edges. Its thick layer of farina not only allows it to thrive in full sun, but also gives it a soft powdery appearance. Some believe it is a natural variation of E. peacockii, while others suggest it may be a hybrid of E. cante and E. shaviana.
Echeveria require ample sunlight to retain their vibrant colors and maintain a compact, rosette shape. While they are not able to withstand harsh frost, they can be moved indoors to a sunny windowsill or under a grow light in the event of freezing temps. To avoid damage, protect from intense afternoon sun during periods of extreme heat.
