Sansevieria 'Sensation'

Sansevieria 'Sensation' is a variegated type of snake plant with dark grey-green leaves and vertical creamy white stripes. Its leaves grow up to 3 feet tall and 1.25 inches wide, slowly spreading and forming colonies up to 2 feet wide. The creamy white flowers are tubular, slightly fragrant, and held on a 1-2 foot tall, upright, spike-like inflorescence. While plants grown indoors rarely flower, those grown outdoors in the ground will bloom seasonally.

Sansevieria, a former genus comprising approximately 70 species of flowering plants in the Asparagaceae family, has been reclassified as Dracaena based on phylogenetic evidence. This group is predominantly found in tropical Africa.
